David has over 37 years experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant. He qualified in 1977 whilst with a firm which today is part of Ernst & Young. Apart from a 10 year stint in industry, he has spent his entire career in practice. David started the firm in 1988 and moved to the current premises in 1998. The firm is a founding member of the Key Network group. David has vast experience in a wide range of business areas including taxation and company secretarial matters as well as audit and accountancy.
David is married to Joy, a medical doctor and they have one son, Tim, who is now training to be a Chartered Accountant.

Susan graduated from Queen's University Belfast with a BSc (Hons) Accounting. She was admitted as an associate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2002 and as a fellow member in 2007.
Susan joined David Ebbs & Co in 1998 and was recently received the 10 years service award.
Manager of our audit and pension services department, she has gained vast experience of audit in various sectors including contruction, I.T and manufacturing. She also looks after our pension scheme services which vary from administration, preparation and audit of pension scheme accounts for Multinational companies.

Shirley joined David Ebbs & Co in 2001 and is an audit senior in the firm. She is a member of the ACCA since 2005 and had previously worked for PWC Malaysia for 2 years.
She has gained significant experience in the Professional Services, Construction and Charity sectors. She also works within areas of general practice such as Income Tax, Corporation Tax and Company Secretarial.
Shirley also speaks Cantonese, Chinese and Mandarin.

Marina Donvito MSc Accountancy & Business

Marina graduated with a Masters in Accountancy and Business from the University of Siena (Italy). She initially spent one year as a post-degree researcher in Monte dei Paschi di Siena and subsequently worked as a fraud and charge back specialist at Barclaycard Ireland.
Marina joined David Ebbs & Co in 2006 as a trainee accountant and is currently undertaking ACCA studies.

David graduated from NUI Maynooth in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Finance. He went on to work for AIB for 18 months before joining David Ebbs & Co. He is currently enrolled as a trainee with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and will sit his CAP 2 exams this summer. David also holds the Qualified Financial Advisor designation and is a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
David works in the Audit and Accounting Department and takes a keen interest in several charities and small companies.

Catherine McCormack
Payroll Manager
Catherine joined our firm in August 2010. She attained a Higher Diploma in Human Resources (Distinction) and is CIPD accredited. Catherine has also achieved a Distinction with the highly regarded payroll association IPASS. She has many years experience within the HR & Payroll function but currently specialises in the Payroll field. She enjoys Latin dancing and walking.
